Mr. Deisinger concentrates on general trial practice in all areas of litigation, with a particular focus in the defense of doctors, nurses, and staff of hospitals and long-term care facilities against claims of malpractice and negligence, as well as regulatory and administrative matters. Mr. Deisinger also counsels health care professionals through investigations and disciplinary proceedings pending before New York State’s Office of Professional Medical Conduct (“OPMC”), Office of Professional Discipline (“OPD”), as well as the Justice Center for the Protection of People With Special Needs.
As a routine part of his practice, Mr. Deisinger is involved in counseling health care professionals and institutions with regard to legislative and regulatory requirements, risk management, and compliance.
Mr. Deisinger also devotes a considerable portion of his practice to general liability matters, construction litigation, and insurance coverage. He has extensive experience in handling complex personal injury matters including those involving catastrophic damages. He has tried cases to winning verdicts and has argued multiple successful appeals.
Mr. Deisinger has been selected to the Super Lawyers Upstate New York Rising Stars list since 2018.
